The Faith Home Ministry is an 18-month faith-based, residential discipleship ministry for men and women lost to a life of sin and addiction. It is a 12 month program curriculum with a 6 month transitional plan for career or leadership development. While in the 12 months of discipleship, the students participate in an in-depth curriculum of classes entirely based on the Word of God, as well as daily devotions, church services, character-building work hours, life coaching sessions and more. By the end of the 12 months, the students will have a solid plan formed for their 6 months of transition as they can choose to remain as a working student or student intern at the ministry.
The main focus is not where they have been, or what they have done; they have already been well-versed in the ways of sin and addiction. Instead, the focus is turned to the only One who can and will set them free: Jesus Christ! Each student has the wonderful opportunity of getting to know Jesus through a close and personal relationship with Him as they gain a foundation in the Word of God, all while instilling discipline back in their lives.
We have seen countless men and women restored to life, restored to their families, and restored to society through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and knowledge of the Word of God. If you know anyone in need of help, please call us at (813) 677-5220.
The Faith Home is blessed to have the gift of leaders who lead from the heart. Pictured about are the Faith Home Supervisors. The men's program supervisor is Richard Fernandez. The women's program supervisor is Shelby Beier. Because they've come from the same place of heartache and destruction, and now have experienced the healing and love of Jesus Christ, Rich and Shelby have the ability to lead from compassion and with an understanding that only comes from experience. Now that they've experienced true freedom, they can walk in that freedom and share it with others.
